Skip's isn't big on atmosphere but it's clean the food and prices are good. In most cities, I wouldn't rate it above 3 out of 5, but finding a decent meal in Summerside can be a challenge, so I'm giving it an extra mark because of how it compares to the other restaurants in town. The one-piece fish is a huge portion and the fries are the tasty home-cut variety. We didn't have the sundaes, but saw others who did and they looked good. I still think Captain Scott's in Cavendish would win a PEI fish & chips competition, but it is only open in the summer, so Skip's is a great choice for your off-season fish craving. They also have a limited selection of other menu items if you are eating with non-fish-lovers.
