We have been staying at Clark's Sunny Isle Motel once a year from 5 years or more. The accomodations are excellent, owners and staff are friendly and helpful. We are welcomed like returning family each year. This year we were lucky enough to enjoy one of the redecorated rooms. It was really beautifully done. We recommend Clark's whenever we can. Fantastic hotel. Booked for one night and felt we had the best value for money on our 2-week vacation in the maritimes. Impeccably clean room and comfortable bed. Enjoyed the benefit of free wireless internet both in room and in the gazebo outside while we enjoyed a glass of wine.

Stayed an extra night and had the opportunity to stay in a newly renovated room the next night. The room was finished to the level and quality of a 5-star hotel.

I travel frequently for business and pleasure and could not provide a more positive recommendation. I will definitely be back.

This was our first time visiting Prince Edward Island. We drove our daughter here to Summerside, P.E.I. to take part in a wedding there, so we booked accomodations here too. I had done some research onine prior to our visit and found Clark's sunny Isle motel listed on one of the websites for P.E. I. accomodations.

As soon as I spoke to Myles Clark on the telephone I had a good feeling about this place! He was very warm and friendly. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was the lovely and well-kept grounds, with beautiful trees and flowers, along with an inviting gazebo . There were many places to sit and relax outside or read a book.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms! Our room was very nice with 2 queen sized beds and an ultra clean bathroom. There was a microwave a small bar fridge which we greatly appreciated this week.

Every day the towels were replaced, even the ones we left hanging up to use again. It's clear that the staff who clean the rooms have attention to detail.

This motel is not the largest, or the most elegant, motel in the area, but it has it's own charm and the price is definitely right! With the price of gas today, and a family, one has to be concerned with price but, even though the rates are low, the service is as good or better than some higher end motels we've stayed in. There is small town, family feel to this motel and we would love to have the opportunity to stay here again.

This is one of the cleanest and high quality family motels we have stayed in while visiting the maritimes. Room was upgraded with quality modern furnishings. Basically a new room. As advertised exceptionally clean. Motel located adjacent to the street but at back is a very peaceful private park with many birds and a view of country fields and a portion of the bay. Very reasonable rates for this excellent accommodation.

Where to begin... the motel is a family business (second generation now running it). The staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is great. Our room (#20) was just renovated with very tasteful decor. The beds were so comfy. There are no coffee makers or telephones in the rooms, but a complimentary breakfast is offered so our morning cup of java was a short stroll away in the main office. The breakfast area is a good place to mingle with other motel guests and discuss things to do and see. We also enjoyed the gazebo area where we enjoyed our wine and snackies. All of this for a very affordable price ($68/nt TOTAL). If ever we return to PEI, this will be #1 on our list of places to stay.

We booked with "Sunny Isle" in January of this year to ensure that my wife and I and 5 other couples would get to stay together; well, we weren't disappointed! Our stay at this wonderful spot was awesome! We were treated like royalty; the proprietors were never fay - if we needed anything, it seemed like they were at our beck and call. The rooms were clean, spacious, quiet, and well equipped. After a long day of cycling on the super Confederation Trail, our rooms beckoned us just like "home"!
We will certainly not hesitate to stay there next year!

My wife and I just returned from a biking holiday on PEI. We stayed at this motel primarily for its location (close to the Confederation Trail). We were overwelmed by the service we received by the owner, Myles Clark, he went out of his way to make sure our bicycles were secure, he gave us well informed information on places to go and see, and his staff made our stay most relaxing. Last but not least - the motel is modern, clean, picturesque and very quiet.
5 Stars!
