The food was great whether it was sandwiches or fish and chips. The chips are home grown and very tasty. Try the local beers. We had a Gahan with our meal and it was tasty. Service was awesome.

Our server was awful. We were looking forward to trying their scallops and bacon. We waited 25 minutes after placing our order. Finally our entrees arrive, but where are the scallops? We were offered the scallops for free , but our entrees were hot and ready. They also were dinner-sized and this was supposed to be lunch. The jambalaya was really good, and the burger with sweet potato fries which was very average.

On Friday, between 4 and 6 it is half price appetizers with the purchase of a drink. There were a decent amount of Appies to choose from, we shared three: Sweet potato fries with Thai mayo, Baked spinach and artichoke dip with naan bread and tortilla chips and Asian ginger beef with veggies.

All three tasted pretty good, the only complaint would be the amount. Lots of bread and chips but a small container of spinach dip and the same with the fries, skimpy amount of french fries. The beef on the other hand, was ample and could have been a meal by its self. Perhaps it was because it was a deal $6 each instead of $12.

FYI, It deserves to be mentioned that they have a large gluten free menu.

This character pub has excellent food, good service, and great ambience. Its named for the Guiness Dublin brewery location. We grazed with appetizers during Friday happy hour (half off appetizers and beer), and had the best mussels ever. They were PEI mussels and we've eaten mussels all over the world--simple prep, and they were sweet and delicious. Very friendly waitstaff gave us some pointers on things to do in the area. Scallops were also excellent (not so much the lobster stuffed portobello), as were the sweet potato fries. Nice option for two different size pours on wine by the glass.

Went here for dinner while visiting Charlottetown with family. The food was excellent and well priced. The service was also very fast. This was a great place and I plan to return on my next visit to Charlottetown!
