We stopped in here on Canada Day between the hayrides and the fireworks. The place has a great pub vibe and the service was excellent. A gentleman standing outside the restaurant had suggested the Shepherd's Pie as we walked in, so we took his advice. My husband is Irish and we have both eaten our share of Shepherd's Pie - this is the best we have ever had! It comes steaming hot in a little cast iron skillet and is so rich and flavorful. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Had dinner here 3 times and the food was very good. Had seafood and the usual pub meal but all was very good. The beer ok but across the street had better sectiion at the Gahan house but only go there for the beer and eat here instead

As close to a good Irish Pub as possible, fine happy hour ($1.00 oysters) and good menu. Chowder had too many potatoes was was excellent anyway! Good choice of local beers, which are good!

We tried t his pub on our recent visit and liked it very much. The food was very tasty and service was very good. It is across the street from Gahan's and we had lunch in one and dinner in the other. Great to find such welcoming establishments in Charlottetown. They were playing traditional irish music while we ate and have live music later in the evening. Would like to go back in the evening for that.
