We headed out for a night out on Pei and ended up at the olde Dublin. There was a good band playing and the spinach dip was tasty.

“Excellent entertainment and delicious food”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

A duo called “Guinness” plays Wed-Thursday, they were GREAT! A lot of Irish, Scottish music (if you are into that, you will like it). The food in this place is amazingly and unexpectedly great! I ordered the lobster stew (OMG, that was so tasty). The haddock filet fish is WELL prepared, with full flavor. The food prices are very reasonable (between US$12-25).

They are closed on Sundays, but they have entertainment every day Monday-Saturday. Enjoy

“A mixed bag for lunch”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

Our first lunch together in Charlottetown proved to be a mixed bag. Very good food, indifferent service.

My wife had the seafood chowder and a glass of white wine. The seafood chowder was excellent, but then we would learn that it seems to be so everywhere in PEI. I had mussels which were very good. The ‘Harp’ was nice and cold. Our only complaint was the service.

A waitress told us to have a seat anywhere, then seemed to lose track of our existence. We waited for quite a while before another server asked if we wanted menus. OK, maybe we sat on the edge of two servers’ territories...The original one returned to ask what we wanted to drink but she clearly had something else on her mind, perhaps the end of her lunch shift. The second waitress brought our drinks and apologized for the delay. By the end of lunch, between the two staff members we had received our orders correctly, just didn’t feel all that warmly welcomed.

“Pub like”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

It was average pub food. Service was super fast but we were there at 2 on a Thursday afternoon. Had the quesadilla and Cesar salad. Salad was "nothing to write home about" as my husband says. It needed ummmm flavour... We had to send it back for extra dressing and I ended up adding lemon and pepper then it was ok. Little on the pricy side as we had eaten at another pub and had 5 beers the night before for the same price.

“Great place”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

This pub was recommended to us and it more than lived up to its billing.
Tyhe service was very pleasant and the food exceptional.
We actually went back before the end of our trip for a second meal.
