“Traditional Pub in downtown Charlottetown”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2011

This pub is across the street from the Gahan and is right downtown. It is on the top floor of the building and the Claddagh Oyster House is on the bottom floor.

The night we were there, it was not quite as busy as the Gahan (across the street), and it caters to a somewhat older crowd than the Gahan. Food was good. Free entertainment is offered, although not the night we were there.

We would certainly go again if we were in the area.

Good selection of beer served in the right glass. Didn't have anything to eat but it looked and smelled great.

“Good history, good food and fresh”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2011

Great small liitkw Irish pub in the downtown part of Charlottetown. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or just to hang out. I noticed a lot people didn't know it was open because it is on the second floor. The atmosphere is a little noisy but the food makes up for it. I had the cold lobster meal for 19.95. The mussels are great.

“Pleasantly surprised!”

Good food and service. Clean with an extensive menu. Really enjoyed the chicken curry and herb crusted haddock. Nice level on the music and lights.

“Very Noisy & Crowded”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2011

The menu at the Olde Dublin Inn offered a very extensive menu to choose from. Between us, we had a variety of meals and a few drinks. All of the food was ok and tasted fresh but not large portions Our server was very busy serving the Tuesday night crowd. This restaurant is up a flight of stairs which are very narrow and crowded. It would be a challenge to get to ground level in an emergency. The dining area was very noisy and not suitable for a pleasant suppertime atmosphere. It was very busy during our suppertime visit. Hard to honestly judge the meal due to the noise and the low lighting. Parking downtown in Charlottetown at supper time is almost hopeless!
