This is a great old house in historic charlottetown. The tour takes about 30 minutes and it is very interesting. Tour guides take you through the house and tell lots of interesting details about the house and its history

Enjoyed visiting this historic Charlottetown home. Built in a “Second Empire” or “Mansard Style” which was popular of the time. This is a great example of the type. We were fortunate enough to visit the third level, which are used as offices as well as the “Belvedere” or “Widow’s Walk” where the views were phenomenal. Definitely find time to visit if in town.

This is a hidden gem and close to the pathway along the shore. Tours are available in both English and French.
The story of the family, who had the house built is very interesting. The decoration and architecture are extremely elegant even within the Victorian period. Obvious care was taken in restoring the house. The grounds have a lovely garden.
We were impressed with the knowledgeable tour guide.
GO if you are interested in history, interior decor, or architecture.
