This Inn was recommended by friends who gave it a RAVE review. They did not mislead us. From the beautifully decorated lobby with a view to the back gardens to our King size room, we were totally impressed.Color co-ordinated duvet and bedding to matching big thirsty towels in the adjoining bathroom, I think the linen sheets were even ironed, they were so smooth. Breakfast was a 5*.Homemade muffins, waffles with fresh strawberries and real cream( none of that canned stuff). Great coffee, we could not eat it all. The innkeepers (owners) were warm & friendly but still very professional. The gardens around the property will be amazing to sit in come summer.

We were a party of 7, celebrating my friend's 30th birthday. We were all extremely pleased with the Cranford Inn, it was gorgeous, very clean, and the ladies who run the Inn are very professional and friendly. The food was delicious - a scrumptious fruit cup to start, with great coffee and OJ, and then homemade waffles for breakfast with strawberries and homemade whipped cream. I normally don't like waffles much, but I've since changed my mind.

The Grand Piano on the main level is really beautiful. One of the ladies played Happy Birthday on the piano for my friend as we ate our breakfast, it was lovely.

If I can, I will stay at this Inn every time I visit Charlottetown. Try it out, you'll be very happy with your stay!

This was my first stay at the Cranford Inn, which was recommended by friends. Unassuming older home with a handful of highly detailed boutique rooms with names such as Sandstone, Emerald and Onyx. I'm a huge fan of having modern conveniences in a cozy older building and the Cranford did not disappoint with its flatscreen TVs and modern bathrooms. Lovely and personable owners have thought through all the details. I was part of a small group that booked most of the rooms and therefore we had the run of the place. We just left the doors open and wandered back and forth as it were our very own house. I truly felt we were guests rather than just room renters, so I was more conscious than usual about keeping things tidy. Breakfast was at the time of our choosing and we were served homemade waffles topped with fruit, as well as coffee and juice. All the homeyness of a B&B but with privacy. One of the more notable features is a sitting room with a grand piano, which we were allowed to play, which made a great area to meet up for cocktails before going out. Lots of windows gives the place an airy feeling. I will definitely be back at the Cranford. Super great Web site http://www.cranfordinn.ca/ reflects the level of care the owners have about their wonderful business, which is located within walking distance from popular eating spots. The Cranford is a must-stay.

The location was great. The facility was wonderful and the staff delightful. This was my first experience staying at a B&B. The breakfest was outstanding. The cleaning was exceptional! I would highly recommend this to any of my colleagues friends and family.

A recent visit to the Cranford Inn reveals a "Gem of an Inn". With a downtown location, the Inn is within walking distance of top restaurants, arts/sports venues and historic sites. The rooms, straight out of "Home and Garden" are spacious, spotless and most have a fireplace. The three-course breakfasts are heavenly and a definite step above your run-of-the-mill (continental) breakfast fare. In fact, my wife and I stayed 6 days and never had the same hot portion of the breakfast twice! All in all, with location, coziness, lip-smacking breakfasts and value-for-money, why stay elsewhere?

We booked the Cranford Inn to celebrate our 1st anniversary together. Our experience was 1st class beginning with our confirmation email that was personalized to us as a couple. We were greeted at the door with a smile & a bottle of champagne, crystal champagne flutes & chocolate. We were told that our breakfast would be geared to my diet as I am diabetic. The room was spotless with very tasteful & elegant decor. We requested a dvd player & it was set up in minutes. The 75 year old Inn is quite elegant, comfortable & homey. A class above the rest. The service was first rate.

The Inn was very quiet & peaceful. We will be back hopefully in the summer so we can view the gardens.

Thank you for making our experience & anniversary one to remember always.

All rooms are recently renewed and individually and tastefully decorated based on gemstone themes. They all have wireless internet access. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful with tips for running routes, restaurants and shopping.

Breakfasts were excellent - a real taste of PEI, including home-baked muffins, scones, waffles. The innkeepers were also very flexible with breakfast seating times.

All the comforts and privacy of a small boutique hotel. Highly recommend The Cranford Inn for both business travellers and for vacation stays.
