This was a fun tour for several reasons. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of COWS Creamery and of the whole ice cream and cheese making processes. She also gave a detailed explanation of the process of designing and making COWS' famous T shirts. The process is interesting in that the designs are developed by a committee approach in terms of what's hot and what's not. The inexpensive tour ends with a small taste of their delicious ice cream which, of course, almost literally forces you to buy a larger cone after the tour. This would be a great activity with kids, on a rainy afternoon or actually anytime!
