Wife and I ate at the Churchill Arms Aug 8 after a 6+ hour flight across the country. After checking into our B&B in C'town we headed down to the C.A. for our first seafood dinner on The Island. We arrived around 7:30 - 8:00 pm, our bodies still thought 5:00 pm, and the place was full and no sign of a table for quite some time. We were waiting for a few minutes when the bartender beckoned us over and suggested we sit at the bar. Best decision as we and she were in a talkative mood. We'd been told about the great fish and chips so that's what we both had, also remembering only one piece not two. Very, very good. Bartender was great and a chap who sat down next to us also very informative. Most people were eating the curry but we didn't come to The Island for curry. I highly recommend the fish and chips.
