We picked this one by the reviews and the location when looking for a place in Charlottetown. It lived up to everything. Large room with kitchenette, nice size bathroom and lots of room. We were here during tropical depression Arthur and lost power on the saturday but the hosts made sure we got around the Inn safely. 3 blocks to downtown made an easy walk to the theatre or to the waterfront. Breakfast was great with a choice 2 options which changed daily.
Excellent staff in the breakfast area and the front desk.
Close to downtown but very quiet.

Good location, walking distance to downtown. Mike? at the front desk has great advice for restaurants, etc and a sharp sense of humour. Free wifi and parking. Breakfasts are average, but enough to get you going in the mornings. Rooms are essentially just a bedroom with really small washroom, but fine for a short stay.

Mike, Alexa and the staff were all very friendly - nothing was too much trouble, including lending us a baby seat for our hire car!

The location is great - just a short walk to central Charlottetown but in a very quiet residential area. So picturesque!

The room had just been refurbished, and was right next to the ramp exit - perfect for the stroller.

The breakfasts were reasonably good, and they were able to provide some gluten free food. Another example of excellent service is that they would make scrambled eggs for the baby on request.

The only quibbles were: slow internet on the desktop and a very noisy fridge! We mentioned both of these to the hosts and fixes were attempted but with mixed success, seeing as both issues were somewhat beyond their control.

We would be very happy to return here next time we go to PEI.

We booked here as kind of a last resort for somewhere to stay so we could attend the Cavendish beach country fest. Wasn't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. When we arrived we were greeted by very pleasant and helpful staff who gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. Our room was newly fefurbished and was air conditioned which was great die to the to outside being over 30 degrees. The location allows you to walk anywhere in downtown Charlottetown with
ease and is a short drive to any of the main routes out of the city. Breakfast was good and service was great. I would definitely stay there again well worth it.

We stayed for two nights last week during a whirlwind tour of PEI and Nova Scotia and were very pleased by the accommodations and staff. Check-in started with a tour of the house from Mike, showing off all the various amenities around the property that are available - sitting rooms, patios, tea & coffee, and more.

If you're driving, there's free parking, but you won't need a car to get to anywhere in the downtown area, as the HHHI is conveniently located between downtown and Victoria Park. There is free wi-fi and free phone calls in the U.S. and Canada, the latter proving immensely helpful when we had to reschedule flights due to Hurricane Albert.

We had one breakfast in the main dining area, which featured a sweet (crepe) or savory (casserole) option. And when we told the desk staff we'd be leaving early the second morning, she unprompted offered a to-go breakfast, which was much appreciated during our airport wait.

Only downside was a snorer next door one night, but a white noise app on the phone took care of that.

Overall, we would highly recommend the Heritage Harbour House Inn!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights this June, and it was lovely.
Breakfasts were gourmet, rooms lovely, sitting rooms available, parking too, and desk very friendly. You can walk to downtown and the water.
It is becoming very popular so try and book early.

Room Tip: There are a few rooms without stairs, so if that is what you need, please ask in advance. That is wh...

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy bed and breakfast. It is centrally located within a beautiful residential area with historic homes, two blocks from the main street in downtown Charlottetown and a block and half away from a waterfront promenade where people jog, walk their dogs, etc. The whole inn is very clean. It has a common area kitchen on the first floor, sun room, and a dining room where they serve breakfast every morning (very good, by the way). In this kitchen area, they have water bottles and soda cans that you can buy. They use the honor system, where you just put the money in a box and take whatever you bought (coming from Miami, this is so refreshing! I’ve only seen this in some places in Canada; one of the many reasons I love Canada and keep coming back. It reminds me of the good old days). There is another kitchen area on the third floor, which was where our room was. They have laundry facilities in-site. The best was the staff, specially the owner Mike and his mom. They were warm, friendly and attentive without being intrusive; perfect balance! I would love to stay here again and I would recommend this place without a doubt! Thanks Mike!
