This place is absolutely wonderful. The hostess is very friendly, knowledgable and will go out of her way to please you. Breakfast is included, usually consisting of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and a hot egg meal. Rooms were very comfortable and warm, not the most up to date although for the price a great value.

I stayed at the Aloha Home for three days and Kelti was a great Host. She is friendly and helpful and gives you all the info required about Charlottetown and surroundings.
Rooms are lovely and very spacious with good amenities.
The breakfast is fantastic and the blueberry pancakes definitely the top choice for a Sunday morning breakfast.
Rates are well priced and the location is excellent. Would come back anytime!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay with Kelti (the proprietor) and her little dog Quincy. The Aloha Tourist Home is a lovely historical house that's been refurbished and rents rooms to people from all over the world who wish to visit beautiful Prince Edward Island. We chose the Gold Room with its private bath. The room had tall windows facing a quiet neighborhood park and was on the bottom floor. Other rooms were accessable via a narrow staircase to the second floor. Kelti was very helpful in providing maps and suggestions for entertainment. Her breakfasts were gourmet: fresh frittatas and cinnamon rolls, choices of cereals, fruit, juice, coffee. We helped ourself to breakfast in the old kitchen upstairs, mingling with other travelers. The Home was about 3 blocks from the Harbor and 3 blocks from town - an ideal location but situated in a quiet residental neighborhood.

Room Tip: Not wanting to drag heavy suitcases upstairs, the Gold Room downstairs was our preference.

Kelti was a wonderful host and left us with a great impression of PEI on our very first night. Definitely recommend it here, don't miss it, and don't make the mistake of stopping at the hostel on the corner.

Room Tip: the room at the top of the stairs is best!

We stayed for 4 nights at the Aloha Tourist Home. Our host Kelti was very welcoming and friendly, so we immediately felt at home. Kelti gave us a lot of tips which areas of PEI we should visit and she was always ready to answer our questions. Our room with ensuite bathroom was called the Gold room and was a cosy, well-furnished room situated on the ground level. The room and bathroom were very clean. On the second floor there was a kitchen, where breakfast was served and where we could prepare sandwiches for lunch. There was also a fridge where we could put our leftovers. The breakfasts were excellent and far superior to what we had expected. Attractions and restaurants were within walking distance and the seaside&harbour were just a couple of minutes away.
