“Quality in Charlottetown”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

Booked this hotel the day before I arrived.
This hotel in right in downtown Charlottetown PEI which makes it perfect for walking to most restaurants, clubs and the harbour.
We arrived about 8:00 pm. We booked the day before. Check in was extremely quick and friendly. Right at the counter is a map of downtown Charlottetown. There is an elevator. I had requested two beds and a cot. The cot was not in the room but I called down and received it promptly. The room was large and so was the bathroom. It was very clean. This is my pet peeve so I check carefully. The sheets and mattresses were comfortable. There was a desk, small table with two chairs, small fridge and coffee and tea and still room for the cot.
The air conditioner worked properly so you could turn it to a comfortable temperature and it stayed there. The hotel was fairly full however we did not hear noise from the hallway.
The parking lot surrounds the hotel so you are a 1 minute walk to your car.
We stayed two nights.
At check out the bill came with an extra 15.00 for the cot per day. This didn't surprise me however when I booked the room I asked for a quote for 2 beds and a cot and the bill was 15.00 over that amount. I inquired at the front desk and explained what I was quoted. The desk attendant called the manager and by the time I came down for bfkt there was a new bill with the cot charge removed.
There is a restaurant in this hotel. We only ate there for bfk. It was ok. We had to send the oatameal my grandson ordered back because it was really bad but we had bacon and eggs and they were ok. Nothing fancy but you couldn't find friendlier servers.
This was a very good basic hotel that was very clean. Exactly what you need if you are sightseeing and are not expecting 5 star pampering.

This hotel is clean and the rooms are very comfortable. We were in the main building, on the 5th. floor and there is an elevator. Our room was a generous size and there was coffee in the room (but no teabags) and coffee and tea were available in the lobby downstairs.

There is a reasonably-priced restaurant in the hotel and they have a good selection on the breakfast menu. This hotel is very close to the downtown though, so there are many other restaurant choices available.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was free and so was the WiFi.

Our only problem can't really be blamed on the hotel. The room next to us was occupied by some very noisy people who were talking, laughing and swearing very loudly until 1 a.m. We did call reception and they phoned the room and the noise level did go down, but not enough for us to sleep. The second night we were there the people in the room were so quiet we didn't even realise that there was anyone there until we were on the point of leaving the next day.

We would go back there again but would try to avoid Room 505 as it is part of a larger suite and perhaps the walls are thinner?

Room Tip: Try to avoid Room 505 as there can be a lot of noise from the suite next door if the guests there ar...

The staff were helpful, friendly and professional, especially the gentleman on the front desk. The location is downtown. The suites have kitchenettes, pull out sofa, comfortable king size bed and separate bedroom and living areas . Everything was exceptionally clean. All our needs were met. However, the rate was a little on the high side. The free coffee to- go ( in the lobby area) is a very pleasant added touch and convenience. The restaurant was clean, with a good breakfast menu and excellent prices.

We had a lovely stay here. Our bed was very comfortable! The room had a fridge and a great tv. The Wifi worked really well and our room was specious and very nicely decorated. It was convenient for us that it was on the ground floor and that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. I had an excellent stay at the quality inn and I would certainly stay there again!

We stayed one night, typical room really nothing special. Guy at front desk was efficient but certainly not overly helpful. Chartlottetown isn't very big so location wasn't that relevant. I'd probably try something different next time as price was average as well.

This hotel was an excellent choice for it's quality of rooms and price given the location within Charlottetown. We walked everywhere we wanted to go in no more than 15 minutes. If you are attending a show at the Confederation Centre for Performing Arts this is your place to stay. There were many restaurants ,bars ,tourist sites and shopping nearby. Also a great launching point from which to tour the rest of the island(ie: Cavendish, Rustico etc.). We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for one night. The hotel was well maintained and fairly clean. There was a long hair in the bath tub.

The location was great with many restaurants in walking distance. I would stay here again.
