From the moment we stepped through the front door of this charming inn we were welcomed and made to feel at home. Our room in the annex was spacious and extremely clean. We loved the colors and the design of the room, especially the way the beautiful sliding screens hid the frig and microwave. Our only complaint was around "temperature control": the AC was rather noisy and although the beds were very comfortable, we had only a sheet and a duvet; with one we were too cold and with both we were too hot. A light blanket would have been welcome.
We were given a 10% off coupon for dinner at check in and used it that evening in the dining room which was quite busy. There seemed to be only one waitress but she was calm, efficient and gracious and we very much enjoyed our 3 course Autumn Flavors dinner. We will definitely return!

We spent three nights at Dundee Arms in July in the annex right next door. The rooms was large with a fridge and very comfy beds. Breakfast on their patio was reasonably priced and tasty with great service. It's an easy walk to the wharf area and historic sites. The location is excellent for enjoying the downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: There are no elevators, so decide accordingly.

Pro's - I mixed up the reservation night so technically was a no show and should have lost my deposit. When I called the front desk they agreed to change the date of the reservation at no additional cost! Phew!!!
- The Beds were soooooo comfy and room was nicely renovated.

Con's - Stayed one night on the main level. Room felt like a cave as there is only one small window. You couldn't open the blind or passerby's could see in. There was also no view, unless you call the stairwell a view. For $170 a night I would expect more.

Room Tip: Do not get a room on the main level.

Nine of us began and ended a bike tour of PEI from Dundee Arms. These folks went far above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate some of our special needs. From storing our bikes in the basement, helping us with innumerable phone calls and issues with shipping internationally, they did it all and always with a smile on their faces.

We cannot thank them enough for the great service, comfortable and clean accommodations, great meals and Bloody Caesar drinks.

Would highly recommend as the location is also excellent, and the premises are a historic landmark but clean and comfy. Rooms are spacious and well-thought out. Thank you!!

Room Tip: Try to stay in the annex as these are modern, large rooms.

Pleasant, week-long stay in the new annex part of this hotel. The reception was very helpful; no problem with very early morning arrival and receiving business faxes on my behalf. I stayed in the top floor of the annex. The room was spacious and modern, with a nice bathroom, small fridge, coffee maker. Airconditioning as well as a window that opens. Wifi a bit erratic but okay. Restaurant pleasant for dinner. Ten minute walk around corner to downtown cafes for breakfast.

Room Tip: Would recommend the modern rooms in the annex.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights. We had a room in the annex on the 4th floor. There is no elevator, it has a small window with no cross breeze but beside this, the bed is one of the most comfortable beds we have been in. The amenities are modern, the television new, free wifi in the room and good lighting. The best part is the restaurant. They have gluten free on the menu. It is one of the only places to have gluten free seafood chowder, which was divine, They have a gf breakfast menu. My husband asked them to make gluten free french toast which they did and it was delicious. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to everything but far enough away from the cruise ships crowds. The staff was extremely nice.

Room Tip: I think that one has to talk to the hotel to get a description of the rooms available. There are so...
