We managed to get a last minute reservation late in the evening and were very glad we did. Despite the late time we had no feeling of pressure; the service was friendly yet professional. The menu changes daily and amongst other things our group enjoyed scallops in a carrot cream with curried nuts, the steamed mussels with ginger, and a combination main dish of caramelized belly pork and scallops - all displayed a real depth of flavor with a respect for the ingredients. A line caught halibut with roast potatoes was less successful, tiny new potatoes not roasting very well and the accompanying julienned vegetables feeling raw and tasteless without a jus to hold them together despite a perfectly cooked piece of fish. Short but interesting wine list at relatively high prices.
The room is a curious brown creation straight from the 1980's with overhead lighting, probably not the place to plan a proposal of marriage but just fine for a good meal out.

Lot 30 delivered on all levels: food, service, setting, and gluten free special requests. We ordered the chefs selection 5 course meal (2 seafood, 2 landfood, and dessert) and let the waiter take care of the wine pairings. Each course was fresh, unique, and delicious. The pork belly on cauliflower purée was the overall favourite. Portions and pourings were generous. Our GF guest was accommodated with little or no fuss. Everyone enjoyed the kitchen cam and the insights to the food selection provided by the server. Dessert knocked it out of the park with a combination of 3 complex delicious tastes including a memorable chocolate pate. Loved it. Tonight we try The Inn at Bay Fortune

Lot 30 continues to be the vacation highlight for our annual visit to PEI. We enjoyed our third dining experience last night and it once again lived up to expectations. Suggestions - enjoy the tasting menu and allow the chef to treat you to five surprise courses. And this year we decided to add the wine pairing - a decision we will repeat next year. As always we sat at the bar and this year we enjoyed lively conversation with Christopher who presented the meals and his wine selections with insight and enthusiasm. Laid back and upscale atmosphere at the same time. Looking forward to next year's visit.

Found Lot 30 on TA as the #1 restaurant and thought we should give it a shot. Made reservations which are strongly advised during peak season as we saw several people get turned away.

We ordered 6-7 appetizers for 2 adults and our young boys (3 and 1) that were great. Off to a nice start and looking forward to the main course. After about 40 minutes we were told that our main courses would be a couple more minutes. After asking about our entrees, they finally arrived about 55 minutes later. When I asked the waiter if this was typical, the answer given was that there are 3 people in the kitchen. No apologies, no offers of anything, but an excuse to us. Not what I would expect of a place charging these price points.

Overall, the food was quite good and the atmosphere nice, but I would advise management to staff properly or train staff on improved hospitality.

This is a really nice restaurant right in the heart Charlottetown. It's close to Province House and the Anne of Green Gables musical. The restaurant is what I would describe as 'casual fine dining' in that it is very nice inside, but you don't necessarily have to be dressed up. The menu is fantastic. For an appetizer I had the potato pave (not the exact name) and it was delicious. For my entrée, I had the steak and found it wonderful. My wife tried the pork belly and absolutely loved it. My mother-in-law tried the salmon and, similarly, absolutely loved it. Our server was also great - very attentive, and knowledgeable. We would go back in a heartbeat!
