“Bring it On!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

I don't think there is a bad meal in this place. I have had plenty of Seafood and this is one of the best anywhere..... It is a small quaint friendly place that makes you feel at ease and enjoy the food is a very relaxed atmosphere.

We had Sand Dune (Not sure if this is the right name) oysters and lobster. The Oysters were creamy and fell apart in your mouth. They are not on the menu so ask for them! The lobster was excellent as was the chowder.....
Service was attentive but not pushy. Although a small place they didn't push you out the door.

Looking forward to my next trip to the area and this will be a must do..... probably more than once!

“The corner diner with a whole lot more”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

This corner diner isn't your usual quaint corner restaurant. This is the real thing when it comes to seafood quality, service and demand. You need a reservation believe it! select anything from the menu and it is guaranteed fresh and delicious. Over two evenings last week, we had the chowder, two dozen Malpeque oysters, the fish and chips dinner, the salmon dinner, and, the grilled scallops. There was nothing we didn't enjoy; we savoured every bit of each meal sharing as we do the ensure we can taste and test and compare. You need to add the Water Prince to your planned stops in Charlottetown. And we had them box 10 live lobsters with cold packs for the flight the next morning. They do ship for the holidays even though the restaurant itself is open only through the busy spring summer and fall tourist season. It is a 5 minute walk from the cruise ship landing so do make a reservation!

“Great Seafood”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

We had dinner their and it was fabulous, we were a group of 14 and although the restaurant is small we were very comfortable. Great food, great waitresses, great service, a bundle of history. We went back for lunch the next day for the Seafood chowder which was wonderful. The coconut pie is the best!!!!

“French Fries!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

Sort of a restaurant, sort of a fish monger, sort of a corner store. It's an interesting place and the seafood is absolutely outstanding. It's full of locals, always a good sign and the service is like your favorite corner diner. But the French fries! I defy you not to eat every last one of them. Once you leave Charlottetown, you'll see acres of potato fields all over the island. These people know their spuds and these were perfect. What you're eating was a whole potato only moments ago. The peel is still on. There's no greasiness and just enough salt. Wonderful. The people at the table next to us had been there two days and eaten at this place for three meals. Now that's an endorsement.

“SEAFOOD is the BEST ANYwhere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013

One of THE VERY BEST seafood restaurants anywhere. Great service, THE BEST oysters and mussels. Nice quaint dining area and one of Charlottetown's best kept secrets. Friends introduced us to this restaurant when we visited PEI and we all LOVED it. Wish it was closer to us.
