Lunch. Soup and salad. One of three soups this day was carrot parsnip and came in a generously sized bowl. I found the soup to be on the sweet side, perhaps missing some tangy zest, but that is just my taste preference, the quality of the soup was unmistakeably high. There is a preponderance of grain-centric meals on the menu but there was also the salad option and a variety of quiches. I ordered the salad with chicken and was pleasantly surprised with the freshness of the greens, tomatos, peppers and mushrooms. The add-on chicken was real chicken breast, not processed meat. Thankfully, the veggies in the salad were lightly sauteed rather than raw. The dressing was a light and tasty vinaigrette. Excellent and cheerful service to boot.
