“Great Rooms”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

We stay here on a regular basis and the rooms are very nice. Always clean and fresh. The beds are comfortable and the tv's are a good size. Having a fridge in the room is a plus and coffee is also supplied.

“Best Casino”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Don't let the proximity to Detroit make you shy away from this place. It is safe, clean and a lot of fun. There is plenty of security and NOTHING here is like those gambling houses in Detroit. It even looks safe to walk around outside of the casino in the neighbourhoods, and one can not say that about too many casino neighbourhoods.
It has the expected manufactured glitz, noise, lights and ambiance of a stereotypical movie casino. You will feel like you are in Vegas or a movie set.
Most of the place is dedicated to slots, but there is table games as well. This is a Ceasars's property, so it is the best of the best and I suspect that they want to guard their brand by being first class all the way. Entertainment is consistently the best outside of Toronto or New York, although the crowd can be a little casino blue collar rustic. It is quite common to see top drawer entertainment performing while people amble in late, or leave after a few minutes of watching a show. I suspect that these are "comped" patrons and not financially invested in the performance. Food is first rate and you can chose, the finest in dining, the big buffet, or just grab a quick bite from a Kiosk. Parking is free and safe with easy access to the gaming floors, as well, there is valet parking (but I have not used it). I have been here many times and have yet to have a bad experience. Staff are conscientious, professional and very willing to help out in anyway.
Another great thing is that ALL WINNINGS ARE TAX FREE.
As a caveat, children are not allowed on the gaming floor by law. So this would not be my first choice as a family destination. Under normal circumstances, to enter the hotel, one must lug your luggage through two floors and km of gaming in order to check in. Not convenient and not possible with minors. Apparently there is another entrance to the hotel if you have children, but I do not know where it is nor how to get to it. BUT, as I mentioned, this would not be a location I would chose if I had minors with me.
The enterprise is smoke free, a definite plus.

“Good food, good service”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

I did not expect to find good food at a casino, but Caesar's has very good food, reasonably priced. The service was very good too. It is worth a visit even if one does not gamble (I don't!).
