I'd heard much about this restaurant within the local Iranian community; many flattering remarks from all strata of society - highly unusual. Had to try it for myself. Finally today went there for lunch:
service was hit and miss (they forgot my second tea and my wife's request for a knife was pretty much ignored); ambiance was glorified greasy spoon. BUT, the food was really quite remarkable; the best "Kabob torsh" (beef filet marinated in a concoction of walnuts, pomegranate and who knows what else) I've ever had - better than mama's cooking! My wife's joojek kabob/baaghaali polo combination was just right. Will definitely return.
