“Nice for lunch with two patios”

I had a business lunch here. Everything was served quickly and was very tasty. The patios were spacious. Service was good. Lovely historical part of Toronto.

“Great Fun Atmosphere & food”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

Spent Saturday afternoon exploring this lovely historic area before stopping for a bite. Witnessed 4 weddings in this beautiful large surrounding area. As for the pub itself, the service was wonderful and friendly. I had their Red quinoa & pistachio salad with roasted veggies and their organic beer and giggled through it all...it was that yummy! My partner was just drinking and he was a happy man too. FIFA was on so the people surrounding the bar area were just as happy. I would recommend this place any time. Our waiter was Cody and he was attentive, friendly and could not have been nicer. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!!

“Great Atmosphere”
Reviewed July 12, 2014

I've been frequenting this place for the last 5 years or so, the atmosphere is great... loud but it's expected when the place is filled with people, especially considering it's a pub. They do not take reservations so it's on a first come first serve basis but on the bright side, you're in the Distillery District and there's tons of things to do if you have to wait for a table.

Naturally, the brew here is fantastic. A wide array of beers and if you can't decide on just one they have flights which are sampler portions of 4 different types of beer. Although the food isn't stellar it's great pub fare and reasonably priced. The flat iron steak cobb salad is a favourite, highly recommend. The service is friendly and you know the waitstaff are trying their hardest considering the place is always jam packed on the weekends. A great place to try in one of the nicest areas of Toronto!

“Great Patio Dining”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

Had dinner in this large patio this past weekend. It was the kick off weekend for 2014 Summerlicious. This place appears to be a large outdoor extention of the Mill St Brew Pub. Which is attached next door. It has been given a seperate name of Beer Hall. It also has additional seating in the inner part of the restaurant. It was a very busy Saturday night due to the Bacardi festival and Summerlicious. Prepare to wait. The service was good. The food was good. The mains starts at $20 and up. Many beer choices. They've got plenty of everything. Except for the deserts listed in the Summerlicious menu. The ran out. Prepare to spend. It can be pricy. The place is clean and the washrooms are clean as well. Above all the atmosphere and ambiance was the best part of the entire experience. They had DJ and spun a mix bag of music and not just one type of music. Pictures to come.
