“Great food & atmosphere (for a chain)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2012

We ate here twice in a 4 day period as we had a good amount of money to spend courtesy of a special deal we got at our hotel. On our first visit, my husband and I and our 2 small children (3 & 5) had a slew of appetizers - good ceasar, so-so sliders and good spinach & artichoke dip - and the Cajun Shrimp which very good, except the bok choy side really had no place with the dish. Dessert was absolutely the best part - the chocolate cake was to die for - moist with luscious vanilla ice cream melting into lovely caramel. Our server was attentive and quick and we were in and out in an hour.

Our second dine was about the same quality wise. We all enjoyed the calamari which was light and crisp. My husband enjoyed his prime rib. I really liked my butternut squash ravioli - the sweetness of the squash & pecans was perfectly balanced by the sauce. But my daughters did not care much for their Italian Sausage ravioli. Tasting it, I didn't care for it either - the pesto tasted 'dirty/earthy' and the filling for the ravioli didn't taste as much like Italian sausage and more like an overseasoned meatball. However, the Break Up Tub - cookie dough ice cream served in a pint tub with broken chocolate cookie (with white choc chips) bits mixed in, topped with caramel, MORE than made up for it! Simple but fabulous! The service this time around was slow though - our entire meal took 2 hours.

The ambiance is nice - not too noisy, and upscale, especially for a chain restaurant. It's located right in the middle of the fashion & entertainment districts, so it is a nice, convenient walk to everything. They do also offer take out, as we discovered when we popped back in our final night to get a Break Up Tub to take back to our hotel for dessert :)

“Great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2012

Compared to other Milestones, the location of this restaurant makes it a bit unique. Right at the Centre of downtown Toronto, it offers a different atmosphere. Also love the fact it's right beside the famous Scotia Theatre in case you want to kill 2 birds with one stone, ie, a combination of a satisfying dinner and a great movie.

“It was all good until the server vanished”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2012 via mobile

The food was good as usual, i had provided the server with a coupon for an appetizer.
It was a late dinner and the server was absent for longer & longer periods so when she came by I gave her the credit card to close out the bill.
That was a huge mistake, she dropped off the receipt and didn't credit the appetizer & was gone before i could say anything. We waited & waited and she just never came back so We took the appetizer out of her tip.

“Good Eats!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2012

Pre-booked a dinner reservation for the Younge/Dundas location Saturday night. When we arrived they had record of our reservation and took us immediately to our table, avoiding what looked to be a sizable line for a Saturday evening.

Restaurant atmosphere was good, lighting etc. We ordered two entrees from the main menu. The service was good, and the food was exceptional. Worth the price. We also had Bellinis a drink that they push a lot at Milestone's and here again, the purchase was worth it.

Would recommend this restaurant for adults while looking for a dinner spot downtown.

“Great food Great service and great prices”

I always enjoy a meal at Milestones for the quality of the food the great presentation. Only one thing I dislike is the high noise high level the music and the layout does not make the eating experience as relaxing as it should be.
But I still enjoy going and will still go
