Avoid this place if you value your health. We went for lunch on Saturday and it was not good. My wife had a very dirty glass, they brought out something we did not order and we sent it back but they tried to charge us anyway but the worst thing happened when we left. I asked to have the food we didn't eat put into a to-go container and the guy picked up our plates and took them to a central station and then used a DIRTY spoon out of the bus tray to scrap them off into the container!! I couldn't believe it!

The food is not good either. The favorable reviews on this site about this restaurant must have been written by the restaurant owners because it was awful.

Met up with some family for lunch on a Sunday. They do have some dim sum but its different to Cantonese style. Their Sui Mai was a bit dry, although their pork soup dumplings were tasty, the broth was darker than the shanghai style. We ordered some other dishes, the snow pea shoots were delicious, the noodle dishes - crunchy and soft were tasty. Didn't notice if they refilled our tea much, it got very noisy and acoustically it got a bit difficult to hear at points. Reasonably priced though, $20 a head for quite a few dishes with some left over to take home. The beef noodle soup was lightly spicy, tender and tasty.

Didn't have room to have dessert but did notice they didn't do egg tarts. They do apparently do great banana fritters (according to another member of our party).

Would go again but for the main dishes, rather than for dim sum but might order some of those to supplement.

I come here several times a year with a group of 6 or more friends for dinner. It never costs us more than $20 a person (that's with taxes). The portion sizes are great and the food comes out hot. I recommend: salt and pepper calamari, scallion pancakes, sweet and sour shrimp (lighly battered that you can see the shrimp through it), and shanghai noodles are the dishes that we order everytime. They provide you with unlimited free green tea and they also charge a reasonable fee for corkage if you bring your own bottle of wine.

don't miss this restaurant, clean, smart design and tasty

We went there by change when crossing Chinatown in a windy, chilly noon The place has a nice contemporary design and the food was excellent. Try the dumplings, by all means
