Great place for romantic dinner. Good food, great service, convenient location (near the Subway 'Eglinton').

I had heard great things about Quince, and we finally decided to give it a try last Tuesday. We loved it!

THE ATMOSPHERE was very pleasant and relaxed. We were pleased to see how busy this place was on a week night. That being said, we never felt rushed or neglected. This bistro has a casual friendly neighbourhood feel to it. The decor is beautiful and there's also a little patio in front of the restaurant which will be perfect for warmer days.

THE FOOD was really good and reasonably priced. We had the pleasure of savouring a grass-fed, hormone-free flat iron steak with caramelized onions and red wine jus (substituted the frites for grilled asparagus) and a Herb roasted half Cornish Hen with squash, quinoa, celeriac puree and red wine jus. We also enjoyed a lovely Tall Poppy Shiraz from Australia, which was on their wine list.

BRING YOUR OWN WINE or order from their wine list. There are no corkage fees on Mondays and Tuesdays. You could always bring that great bottle of wine that’s been sitting at home waiting for a special occasion, or you could purchase a bottle at the LCBO, which is right across the street from the bistro.

THE SERVICE was flawless. Throughout the entire evening, everyone we dealt with was so friendly and attentive to our every need.

We will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend Quince for its ambiance, service and great food.

Have been to Quince many times, have always had a great culinary experience. On the last occasion it was very busy and they were behind by 5 minutes or so. The manager / owner gave us free appetizers for the wait, unexpected, but a nice gesture.

The food fusion here which includes Morocan influence and others is always fresh and has seasonal influences on the menu that changes by season.

Take time to visit Quince, its one of Midtown's gems as far as I'm concerned.

Quince has it all from a wonderful North Toronto location to a warm atmosphere when you enter. But when you look at the menu you realize you are in for something really special. Jennifer and Michael have created a diverse selection of options for all. This was my second trip to Quince and we brought along my sister and her husband. We can all recommend the pork chops, scallops, steak frites, and pasta dishes without exception they are fantastic. You can telll the attention to detail from the presentation to taste. The appetizers were also delicious and just wait for the deserts. Our service was great as well.

I highly recommend you give Quince a try for one of the best food experiences in Toronto.

Interesting restaurant... the chef explores flavors, Mediterranean, Moroccan, Dutch Indonesian in unique presentations. Short ribs, shrimp sausage, wild boar terrine... the menu is short but regularly changing and if you can get a reservation for the Indonesian Rijstaffel it will blow your mind!
