Description: It's some 1700 years since the worldly sage, Mallanga Vatsyayana wrote his epic Indian tale of love... The Kama Sutra. Written in ancient Sanskrit, (for the eyes of the ruling elite only), it's a doctrine dedicated to the celebration of love. Having studied it from every angle (purely for culinary inspiration!), We realize the words are, in fact, a metaphor for "the love of food". Our culinary team has stayed true to the actual origin of each dish. No stone is left unturned in our quest to provide our guests with a remarkable dining experience.

“Best butter chicken I have ever tasted”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2012

This quiet and nicely decorated restaurant has raised my bar for butter chicken. Combined with the garlic naan, you will not regret it. I tried the sampler platter and the dishes were just great. Not a bad choice on that menu.

Good location, professional and courteous staff and large wine selection make this place a no-brainer.

“exotic treat”

Really nice change from the mundane and the usual. A neighbourghood place that goes beyond its boundaries in service and tastiness.

“Very good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2012

I had dinner at this restaurant last week. Over all the food was excellent and the service very good. The waitress advised us on how much to order as we were picking too much. The only failure was the Onion Bahja which she warned us were only onion rings rather than the normal pakora style. She was right but we were warned. The coconut curry was full of different flavors and the serving of chicken Shaslick very generous. he meal came with pappads and we ordered Naan which was excellent.
The prices were very reasonable and there is even free street parking on that side of Bayview.
Please excuse any food spelling mistakes.

“Tasty food and good service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2012

We tried the Chef's Platter and the Tandoori Sampler for 2, both of which were a tad under seasoned, but tasty nevertheless. Other dishes we tried included the Malabar Fish Angoori which was delicious . However, the most disappointing was the Chicken Biryani, which tasted like a plain pilaf and lacked the complex layered flavours of a good biryani,
The service and ambiance were better than one would find in most Indian restaurants.

“Great service and surroundings!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2012

Went to Kamasutra with some friends and my wife a few weeks back for the first time. The food was great as was the restaurant atmosphere. I was very impressed by the selection on the menu and the quality of the food that we ordered.

I suggest looking at the group meals at the back of the menu. After ordering we saw these but the order was complete. At first glance, these group selections offer lots of value at a fair price. More importantly, they still allow for lots of choice by the table.

Easy parking right across the street at the green circle municipal parkikng lot (about $7).

I will certainly be heading back! Going to have to try the patio -- looks great!
