We attended a birthday party here, and the food was great. A bit of dancing was presented, and we got a free hip-swing lesson from a beautiful dancer.

The Sultan's Tent is a good place to organize an event for a small group or perhaps for a date theme. The menu is table d' hote style and starts at $39.99 but can rack up quite the tab as there are many upgrade selections available. The food is extremely hearty and in my opinion not worth the upgrades. I've learned to stick to the main choices..you won't be astounded by culinary genius, but it's a great place to go if you want a dinner theme. The belly dance show happens when all the courses are almost finished being served, it doesn't last a long time but is a treat to see as she is very talented and will give your table something to converse about. There is opportunity for audience members to get up and give it a try as well, but don't wait to long or she'll move on. There is the potential to get unexpectedly tipsy as they offer a lot of exotic gimmicky cocktails on the menu.

This place is great! We had a full course meal that was to die for. Everything was good. I had a steak on a bun and it was the best steak on a bun I've ever had. The flavour, the texture, everything was perfect.

We love this place and have been 3 times now. The food is wonderful and the dancing and atmosphere are just unique and fun. BUT our last visit really turned me off recommending this place anymore. As a group of 8 of us sat down, our waiter informed us we could only have the table for an hour and a half. They needed to prepare for the next seating/reservation. He hadn't even handed us our menus yet. We were really put off and I felt so bad having arranged our night there! That said, the food came really fast and it was delicious. We just found it kind of rude and it affected the rest of our evening. It was a special night and we were basically told to leave as soon as we were done.

Loved the food and the belly dancing that was the "entertainment" during dinner. The atmosphere is very intimate and it is a great unique dining experience without being gimmicky.
