Good value food. Nothing fancy but well done and huge quantities. And the ale was great.

This placed used to be a biker bar and some guys on bikes still hang out, but this place is 180 degrees about-face from what it used to be. It has a fabulous patio and front porch. Seating inside has a casual elegance. The staff is friendly and warm.

Your order may take a while to get to you, but that's only because they cook everything from fresh when it's ordered.

The specials have been fantastic, as is the regular menu (only thing to stay away from is the bruscetta - small portion and severely over-priced... it's the only dud in the place). The star of the menu, as far as I am concerned, is the wings! There are a number of sauces, but whatever the sauce, be sure to order them "Athur-style". They cook up those bad-boys and sauce them, but then they throw them on the flame grill and give them the beautiful char marks. This process sort of candies the sugars in the sauce, just a bit. They just have to be experienced... there really are no words to do them justice. Bless you Arthur, whoever you are!!!

The fish and chips are done in a nice beer batter and their ribs are truly wondrous, also.

Just go... you won't be disappointed!

One last note... this is a pet peeve..... it's a bar/ restaurant atmosphere with pool tables and games on the tv's, so please, leave your children at home! Either pay for a baby-sitter or get a relative to look after the wee ones. Places like this always used to be and still ought to be a place where adults can go and enjoy adult company, not listen to whining and screaming children. You aren't doing the kids any favors, either. Let them nap and watch Sesame Street and be comfortable at home, not fielding glares from other patrons who want to enjoy their adult beverage in peace.

This is a local hang out that is a great place to go for dinner or to watch the game, shoot pool, and enjoy some beer and wings. The wings are really really good and you can have them finished on the grill so they're crisped up.
Don't underestimate the rest of the menu though....they have a very nice dinner menu too.

I was given a birthday party at the Olde Stone Cottage. We spent a nice afternoon with family and probably generated of $800 in sales that day. Our waitress was pleasant the the pleasantness of another staff member, left us all with a bad taste in our mouths. This other staff member, when asked questions by any of us, refused to answer and told us to see our waitress. She barged passed us to set up our table and treated us like we were an intrusion and couldn't wait to get us out of there. We were not rowdy, we were a mixed crowd of family members. She was rude, obnoxious and did not make us feel welcome in the slightest. The food was OK but not great. The chicken wings were way over cooked. The quesidilla's were good as were the veggie tray.

This waitress/bartender spoiled the entire day for many of us as she was randomly rude to anyone who either got in her path, spoke to her or tried to order a drink from her.

I couldn't believe it - a nice, friendly and clean Restaurant / Pub right in my back yard. We came on a Friday night, place was very busy but we were able to get a nice table by one of the Fireplaces and had a great time. The food was excellent, I had the Curry and my wife had a Spinach salad with Steak – really nice. The staff were excellent , could have been a little more attentive – but like I said it was really busy. We ended up staying longer than planned, which was great because e they had a really good guitarist come on at about 9:30. Great meal, great night – highly recommend checking it out.
