Description: Scaramouche has long been celebrated by customers and critics for its unwavering commitment to making each dining experience a memorable one. Chef/owner Keith Froggett's sophisticated cuisine is presented simply with care and attention to detail. The service underscores that philosophy: unobtrusive and respectful. The restaurant affords a stunning nighttime vista of the downtown Toronto skyline. These components and more make Scaramouche the singular destination it is. And the reason that the restaurant is consistently ranked as one of the city's best for more than three decades.

Well, it lived up to all the reviews and hype. Went for my girlfriend's birthday. Service and food was superb. It is expensive but they deliver.
Our sommelier was went beyond and got a bottle not on the wine list. In chating with him we expressed disappointment in a Niagara wine being sold out of an excellent white wine. To our surprise he had a bottle. He gave us each a glass, for 'fun' (i.e. free). Wonderful touch.

This has been our favourite restaurant for years now. If you love French food, you will love Scaramouche. The great thing is that they do change their menu so you can try a variety of different dishes. We've been to some very highly rated French restaurants that are excellent but never change their menu.

On their current menu, we had and enjoyed:
Appetizers
- warm duck salad (crispy, lean, tender duck) AMAZING
- Butter lobster

Main course
- Black cod
- Venison (two sizable pieces of meat, very tender & lean, not gamey at all)

Dessert
- Coconut cream pie (awesome)
- Creme brulee w/sorbet

Amazing service and prices are more than reasonable for the quality you're receiving.

Have been going there for the last several years for personal special ocassions and important business dinners. Food has consistently been excellent as so has the service. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

We went here for my husband's bd, and were not disappointed. The food is excellent, and as good as we've had anywhere. Everything from the appetizers to the excellent main courses and desserts were better than aniticpated. It's very expensive - but worth it for a special occasion.

The service could be better. We had to ask someone to find our waitor to order wine. We had a table by the window which you must request when you reserve in advance. Otherwise the atmosphere is nothing special. The food however makes up for any other shortcomings.
