Description: Scaramouche has long been celebrated by customers and critics for its unwavering commitment to making each dining experience a memorable one. Chef/owner Keith Froggett's sophisticated cuisine is presented simply with care and attention to detail. The service underscores that philosophy: unobtrusive and respectful. The restaurant affords a stunning nighttime vista of the downtown Toronto skyline. These components and more make Scaramouche the singular destination it is. And the reason that the restaurant is consistently ranked as one of the city's best for more than three decades.

Although we do not reside in Toronto, we are there often and have been enjoying Scaramouche for the past 20+ years. It is our "go to" choice for every anniversary, birthday, special occasion or even when we just want a tried and true spot that is guaranteed to please! It has it all: room with a view, impeccable service, exceptional food that is well prepared and presented and reflects the season (coconut cream pie is the one constant and is a must!). We have never been disappointed and look forward to our next visit to Toronto and Scaramouche!

We managed to get a table near the window in the Scaramouche Grill (separate from the dining room, which is even better). As always, the service is impeccable, the atmosphere sophisticated and the food delicious.

This is one of the most fashionable restaurants in Toronto. It's always crowded and somewhat loud as a result. But they have blessedly shunned the loudspeakers with blaring music so common in less tasteful restaurants.

A first course of six oysters is $20. One of us had a lamb shank and the other veal parmigiana; both are recommendable. Wine prices are somewhat steep but unsurprising here.

Warmly recommended for convivial dining with the in-crowd on superior food with affable service.

I was very excited to go to Scaramouche, since it is very well rated by so many users in Trip Advisor. No dissapointments. Food was delicious and the service is out of this world. It is a French restaurant, so of course you will have excellent wines and cheeses. The scenic view is beautiful. They have a valet parking service, which is very convenient. I won't hesitate to visit again.

I was taken here for a surprise anniversary meal with another couple , and it didnt disappoint!
Even though we live nearby we didnt realise that scaramouche existed, as it is hidden in a residential tower block.
But dont let this put you off, the food was exactly as you would expect, no odd surprises, just good consistant presentation, flavours and tastes.
The atmosphere is perfect for anything, from a romantic meal for two to a celebratory group affair.
The staff were respectful and efficient and not too over the top.
All in all we agreed that its a very good resturant and we would be happy to go back, even though its not cheap!
Forgot to mention the fantastic view over downtown Toronto
