3 of us had lunch here and I was impressed. It's not too far from our office and a nice change from the power house restaurants of the business district.

We shared the salumi platter to start and it was very tasty. For our entrees 2 of us had the veal - large portion, topped with cheese & proscuitto (sp?). Tomato sauce was served on the side, had a nice flavour with some spice. Raves about the veal. Third entree was the fritto - shrimp, calamari and veggies which was very tasty.

With 3 glasses of wine, coffe and cappucino bill was $120 + tip. We would return.

Stopped here by chance after Distillery Christmas Fest. Waiter was not personable but efficient. Had seafood medley pasta with tomato sauce. Delicious!

Visited here on a business trip on the edge of Superstorm Sandy, desperate to find somewhere out of the wind and rain near our hotel on The Esplanade, that might serve vegetarian food for one of our party. Paganelli's was a great find and we returned the following evening. My octopus starter was excellent, the pizza too much for me (though not huge). The starters were quite filling, the pasta, pizze and meat dishes all declared very good. The beer range isn't that broad - Keith's IPA and a few pilsners. The wine, as elsewhere in Toronto, isn't cheap but drinkable - and available by the glass.

This is a large place, and it was fairly empty on our visits Sunday and Monday, but service was friendly and efficient, and welcoming.

Our family has been coming here for years. Food is delicious. They make everything themselves including the awesome salamis, etc. We have had a few parties here as well and everybody always has a great time and loves the food and wine. Thanks Gabriele!

Quality of pasta has declined. Service is abysmal now with our waiter being almost abrasive at times. Portions are OK sized but almost every dish tastes the same. Would return if the service was better as there are precious few good Italian places in the city but if the food quality continues to decline this place will no longer even be included in that set. Wish that Mr. Paganelli would take a step back to what he was doing so well back in 2004.
