REGINA PIZZERIA & TRATTORIA 782 COLLEGE ST., TORONTO. We were introduced to RPT, BY A GOOD FRIEND, WHO HAS ORDERED FROM THEM FOR OVER TEN YEARS. We called , ordered their pizza, and were taken aback by the quality , flavour , and presentation , it was a supremo pizza. The next part of the journey, was to travel up and see the actual place itself. We arrived along with the introducing party, who by the way was also seeing the place for the first time as well. The entrance is welcoming, the colours throughout are totally Italian, the paintings on the wall depict Italy and various scenes all very comforting, the music is Italian themed, and yes believe it or not, there is white table cloths with an under cloth as well. Bottles of Chiantti sit on every table, with the straw bottom , which is now back at the LCBO, under a new owner.
The owner brings out sensational white italian bread and Saputo butter, the bread is wonderful. Orders of magnificent pizzas keep passing by, the aroma lifts you out of your seat. We order Linguine and White Clam sauce, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Chicken Parmigiana, with side of Alfredo Fettuccine, all arrive same time, and they are delectable to the eye.
The flavour, the texture, all is one hundred percent Italian, and really good. The menu has just about every Italian dish going, they are renowned for their pizza. The price is definitely modest, as opposed to downtown dining. We will be going back, as this is our new Italian place to patronize .KB
