“Good food, small place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2012

The service was great- food was all great except the wings were odd....only come in Jerk and BBQ and were mushy, soft, unattached. Not good at all.
Feels like a hole in the wall, cozy dining/pub atmosphere. Try the Lake Of Bays beer.
Drinks were amply strong and waiter was a character. Will be back, just not for the wings :)

“great food at this interesting pub”

Consistently good food at Rebel House. Make sure you try the poutine and the meat loaf - both amazing. Many many beers on tap. Very enjoyable afternoon!

“Best beer selection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2012

One of my favorite places in Toronto. Food is above average pub fare and the beer selection is the best in Toronto. I am a regular customer and have been for many years.

“Nice patio in the back in summer, menu can be updated to include healthier items”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2011

Nice food, great service. good burger if you like bison in the mix.
Salads are okay but no organic eggs, chicken or meat to put on top. Nothing hormone/antiobiotic free so we cant go back for protein meal. Would be nice if there was wild BC/Alaskan salmon or snapper or some non farmed fish on menu. Its a solid restaurant though if you dont care about the organic health issue.

“Hidden Gem Discovered in Rosedale Area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2011

I frequently travel to Toronto on business, but it took a trip there with my husband to find a great restaurant not too far from my home away from home (hotel). The restaurant was recommended by a bartender at a bar closer to downtown, and boy are we glad we stopped in. Originally planning on just trying some beers off their extensive list of Canadian microbrews, we ended up staying for appetizers and dinners and making friends with some of the locals. The food was wonderful with me trying a chickpea curry dish, and my husband enjoying meatloaf. We sat at a downstairs bar, however there was a quaint upstairs and an outside patio as well. I definitely plan on going there when I am in town again and taking co-workers with me next time.
