It's a very good standard place for fried fish & chips…I had the haddock at the suggestion of the server & it was delicious, not oily or heavy…& the fries were spot on. The New England clam chowder was a little library pastey & needs an update, but everything else was quite good and worth a trying if you're a fish & chip aficionado!!

Consistent, consistent and more consistency. It's what it is about. Cod n Chips... nivce meaty fish in a crispy batter, cooked at right temperature so little grease. Fries hand cut. Just great. Back in England last week, had fish n chips at local eatery... thin fish, undercooked chips, couldn't wait to get back to the Olde Yorke.

With the demise of the late, lamented Penrose Fish and Chips on Mount Pleasant, Olde Yorke has become the default for folks in Leaside, Davisville Village and thereabouts. With a choice of cod, haddock or halibut, as well as scallops and the usual pub choices (hamburgers, pies, fish sandwiches) this is a reliable spot for family dining, lunch or snack-type meals. Wine list is nothing exceptional; beer and ale selection is better; and the fish and chips are crispy and good. Coleslaw is mediocre. Portions are large. There are lots of seats, indoors and out (in summer), and a kind of solarium area. Nevertheless, the place is always busy. Parking is limited, and many people park on the surrounding street. The food is pleasant pub food - nothing wrong with it, nothing particularly original, but no weird surprises either. Good and plentiful eats, not fine dining. A bit pricey for what it is.

Great food here, 2nd best fish and chips in Toronto, but I would rate "Hamish Kitchen" #1 fish and chips. Olde Yorke Fish and Chips has great food, problem is finding on street parking. Give it a try you won't be disappointed

Went there for lunch with the family and the food was excellent. The fish and chips were crisp and fresh. The chowder was creamy and tasty. The onion rings were also very good.

A must to visit for those fish and chips lovers!
