Description: A meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory is an experience. We invest meticulous attention to our decor so our guests feel as though they're stepping into another world. Every location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall. Nearly every item on The Old Spaghetti Factory's menu is made on-site, from scratch, using fresh ingredients. Unlike most restaurants, when you order our entrees, we serve you a complete meal, which includes bread, soup or salad, and dessert. And with our famous kid's menu, special treats and fun activities, we encourage families to feel at home in our restaurants. The Old Spaghetti Factory is still family owned and operated and we welcome your family to join ours for a memorable dining experience.

“still great after all these years!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2014

I first went to the old spaghetti factory when I was a kid and loved it. Well it's 30 years later and I still love it! The food is awesome and portions large. The decor is unique and fun! Great place to go with kids or a group of friends.

“Not what it used to be . . .”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

We used to come here as kids and remember liking it a lot. 20 years later decided to bring our kids here, with cousins and grandparents in tow. We were seriously disappointed. The salad was old and about what you expect in a bad cafeteria, the dressing goopy. Minestrone soup was over-salted. The chicken was tasteless, the spaghetti just bland. Grandma commented that her goat cheese agnolotti tasted like the goats slept in the cheese. Two people from our party had stomach aches afterwards. Service was ok, a bit slow (they were surprisingly busy). I only gave it a two (as opposed to a one) because the kids were actually fine with their spaghetti and they didn't charge us for the chicken dish we complained was bad and didn't eat. We will definitely not be coming back.

“Quirky setting, great value for money”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

We went to the old spaghetti factory twice during our 3 night stay in Toronto because of it's unique decor and great value for money. Each main course comes with bread and butter, soup or salad starter, ice cream desert and tea or coffee - the food is simple and honest but tasty and for around $25 each you can't go wrong. The restaurant is kitted out with quirky seating, stained glass lampshades, old telephone boxes and a carousel which creates an interesting dining experience. The waiting staff were very attentive.

“Good food, good service, low prices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2014

Back after a nice first visit among friends, each time we walked in without reservation and only waited 5 minutes once.
The prices are really fair for what is offered, check the online menu for their dishes. Included are bread (as much as you like) with home made garlic butter, water, a coffee or tea, and some ice cream.
The atmosphere is really nice (old merry-go-round horses, plant hangers, telephone cabin and train wagon), the service quick and friendly. Haven't seen much better value for that kind of money in Toronto!
This particular time I had the squash tortellini, and they were among the best pasta dishes I had in a long time, besting the lasagna I had on the first occasion.

“Family birthday”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2014

Food was good. Service was not good. We had to ask for everything. One end of the dinner table (main course) never got cleared (throughout dessert)until we were leaving the restaurant.
The waiter had us pass the dinner plates, they have a mandatory 15 per cent tip for groups, they didn't serve their requisite ice cream to each of us - it was included in the dinner. I had a dirty fork.
The waiter was scarce and we all had difficulty with his accent. He bombed the birthday cake surprise. The children didn't get well looked after. Doubt if we will return. It WAS the waiter.
