Description: A meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory is an experience. We invest meticulous attention to our decor so our guests feel as though they're stepping into another world. Every location is adorned with antique lighting, intricate stained glass displays and an old-fashioned trolley car that doubles as a dining hall. Nearly every item on The Old Spaghetti Factory's menu is made on-site, from scratch, using fresh ingredients. Unlike most restaurants, when you order our entrees, we serve you a complete meal, which includes bread, soup or salad, and dessert. And with our famous kid's menu, special treats and fun activities, we encourage families to feel at home in our restaurants. The Old Spaghetti Factory is still family owned and operated and we welcome your family to join ours for a memorable dining experience.

“Nice place, average food, lots to see”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

We went a few times to this place in downtown Toronto. It's a nice place with lots to see around you. The food and service is average. Not bad, not outspoken great.
It's always very busy, but you don't need reservations cause it goes quite fast.
I think it must be nice to go with kids or groups with kids, you probably need reservations, cause its pretty loose, fast servings and lots to see.

“Great food fast”

Just had the standard spaghetti dish but it was very good. Lots of bread and two types of butter came with my dish. Good meal at a good price.

“It's fine for what it is”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

Don't go expecting gourmet cuisine. It is what it has always been - inexpensive, o.k. food. If you go expecting top quality Italian food, you will be disappointed. We went because we had theatre tickets at the Sony Centre and this location was convenient. We arrived at about 6:00 and there was already a 20 minute wait. When we explained that we had limited time, the staff were very accommodating and assured us they could get us out on time.

There is a complimentary "loaf" of bread which is really the size of a large sandwich roll shared by the two of us. It was warm and soft and we could have eaten more but it was not offered by our server. No worries. Salad was iceberg lettuce that was just past fresh but it was edible and well dressed. Our servings of the main course were quite generous.

I would agree with other comments that the decor is old and a bit dirty looking. We'll go again when we are off to the theatre again. The price is right and the food is acceptable. Staff were courteous and efficient.
