If you like steak I would check it out, it is a bit pricey but probably worth it, one of the best steakhouses in Toronto. I had the Filet Mignon it was great, they present the meat to you prior to ordering on a cart and go through the details of each cut, which I did not experience at any other steakhouse ive been to in Toronto, was pretty cool.

We dined on Friday night. I love a noisy restaurant that is full of life. Mortons is always full of life. Service was attentive and professional. We had starters of lobster bisque and prosciutto wrapped mozzarella. Both were generous in portion and of highest quality. Entrees were the chicken christopher dish and a petite filet with a 5oz lobster tail. Desserts are a must at Mortons. The warm chocolate lava cake and key lime pie were outstanding!!!

Recently celebrated a special occasion with a friend at Morton's. Expected high prices, but $ 150+ for a couple before drinks is a tad high. Bread was served but without a butter knife, leaving you to your own devices with the butter. Caesar salad was massive but soppy, salmon tasted as if it had been frozen (okay, I know, it's a steakhouse, why order salmon...), veal chop was small for the massive price. Chocolate cake and ice cream would feed a family of 6, but it was nothing special. Have had better desserts at chain restaurants.

Service was very good, ambiance is upscale, but the chefs need to up their game if they want repeat business at these prices.

If you think that culinary excellence is a huge steak at a ridiculous price, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay away
