“Great spot for late (but not too late) lunch”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

Visited on a weekday after the main lunch rush was over. Very good open faced sandwiches, tasty salad, great frites. Pleasant surroundings, pleasant and efficient service (at an admittedly "un-busy" time). I will be back.

“A neighborhood gem”
Reviewed April 16, 2013 via mobile

This wonderful French restaurant is just steps from the Art Gallery of Ontario, on McCaul just north of Dundas. The menu provides excellent choices for all tastes, though it does seem to specialize in a wonderful selection of mussels. It tends to be busier at lunch than at supper so it never hurts to make a reservation. Prices are reasonable, especially the Prix Fixe menu. This restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors to the Art Gallery. Well worth a visit.

“Impressive food, but disappointing service”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Visited as recommended by Trip Advisor. Delicious goats cheese and honey starter with generous salad. Such flavoursome melt in the mouth rainbow trout. True compliments to the chef. However waitress service was not friendly and certainly without a smile, and we were made to feel more of a hindrance. Unfortunately this soured our experience of the restaurant which we would have rated 5 star.

“A hidden gem. Best mussels I've had in Toronto”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

This place is small, intimate.. requires a reservation. Highly recommend their Romana mussels in tomato sauce and their profiterole dessert. I've gone here numerous times for lunch and once for a romantic dinner, its truly hidden gem.. with exceptional food, service and atmosphere.

“Wow! Totally Unexpected!”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

This is truly a hidden gem in Toronto - you'll think you are dining at au coin de la rue en Paris. The food is fabulous and the service impeccable. I have dined here three times for lunch and it is now my go to place for lunch. In a word - impeccable! You won't be disappointed. Have had the whitefish lunch special, house salad and open face brie sandwich and all are winners. Very reasonably priced. Worth visiting.

Bon appetite!
