We were looking for a nosh before a concert at the Danforth Music Hall and went here based on TA reviews. We were not disappointed.

Sampled the saganaki - very good, the fried calamari - excellent, the greek sausage (the name escapes me) - very tasty and a shared Greek salad - great freshness and nicely dressed with a very good feta cheese.
The baklava was the star of the show, piled high with nuts and phylo pastry with a nice balance to the honey with floral and citrus notes in the background. A substantial serving, we probably could have shared one piece.

A very busy place, we were there on a Saturday evening around 6pm and it was slammed by 6:30. Quite noisy, which is why atmosphere scores a bit lower. Service was quick, friendly and efficient, never intrusive.

Tab , including a tonic water and a glass of wine was $77.00. Not cheap, but worth it in our opinion.

Went here for casual dinner with coworkers. The food was excellent and the service was great. Best calamari I've ever had. Only complaint is that parking is hard to come by. Will be going back again next week!

Mezes is a favourite restaurant of mine - among a sea of other Greek restaurants on the Danforth, this one really stands out. The food is always flavourful, including the greek salads and various dips. The staff are very friendly, fun and are always up for a chat with patrons. The tirokafteri is a great upgrade from the regular old tzatsiki. The fried calamari is the best calamari I've ever had, and the chicken skewers are the perfect entree. I make a point to go out of my way and visit Mezes once every couple of months to cure Greek cravings!

We dined at Mezes this past weekend, and the night was simply amazing. The food was terrific (highly recommend the calarmari and lamb chops), service was excellent, staff was extra friendly, and the atmosphere was top notch. Don't pass this place by!
