“An Old standard”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

We have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. Many places in this city come on big and flame out in couple of years, Le Paradis sticks to what they do well for a very reasonable price.
Basic bistro food, well prepared and tasty. The wine list reasonable as well, great bistro atmosphere, mostly locals and regulars. Pleasant rooms, always busy, but the noise level is tolerable. I love to watch the chefs in the open kitchen. I hope they keep doing what they doing for years to come, so we always have a place to go to when we get disappointed in the latest hot new spot

“Solid French bistrot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2014

Menu pretty much authentic French bistro cuisine, and food tasty, befitting service, pleasant atmosphere, nice wine selection by the bottle and the glass. Gives you a string feeling of a family restaurant. Very pleasant experience.

“Glad this in my hood!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014

Around the corner from where I live, so have been there many many times over the years but never reviewed it before. Perhaps, the most authentic French restaurant in the city. True classic bistro fare with steak frites, moules, and even kidneys and sweetbreads. The best frites! Everything is fresh, well prepared, served hot and the prices are very reasonable. Waiters work together as a team, cruising the room, missing nothing. Very busy and bustling so better reserve although they do keep a few tables at the front especially for walk ins. Private back patio for summer dining. House wine acceptable and moderately priced. A local institution serving lunch and dinner and now weekend brunch.

“Good food - inexpensive and unpretentious”

Good food. Very reasonable pricing. Delivers value and taste. Very consistent. Not the best food. Just good solid fair at very reasonable cost. I'll return again and again.

“A Fine Fine Bistrow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014

I have been going to this restaurant for 25 years and went again last night. A truly warm and delightful experience. The staff are without exception both pleasant and knowledgeable and the food is always well done and interesting. Last night we both had meat (She beef, me lamb) and in both cases there were no complaints. Plus is it is very reasonable in terms of price.
