Visited this delightful and cozy Italian restaurant for the first time on a Friday evening with friends. Excellent Chef Special of filet mignon and shrimp with potato puree. Perfectly grilled and each component on the dish complimented and perfected each bite. Fantastic, attentive service worth 25% - 30% of your bill. This is their profession and the service cannot be beat anywhere!

It is a MUST try!

The food is very good and they have great specials everyday. The list of wines is also good and the atmosphere and design are very enjoyable. It is always busy and can be loud, but that makes it fun. The owners is always there an everyone in the restaurant is very friendly. I have been there many many times and the service is always good. I always choose this restaurant for all the special occasions.

We recently dined there with another couple around 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night and the place was rammed with chatty young couples and tables of older diners. Thie main dining room is loud. Very reflective ceilings make normal conversation difficult. The outside patio may have been better, but we were seated just inside the main doorway.
The gnocchi dinner special was shared by the four of us as a table appetizer and it was intensely flavoured and delicious. My wife and I also shared a beef carpaccio starter which was very good. Two of us had the veal scallopini with mushroom cream sauce while I had the limone version. Both versions were palate pleasers. Our fourth diner had the daily fish special which he seemed to enjoy.
Two bottles of Italian Primitivo, moderately priced at $42 per bottle, helped make the room buzz more tolerable.

Of all the restaurants at Yonge and Eglinton, this is the place to eat. Not only will you enjoy a consistent food experience, the atmosphere and service is terrific. We have enjoyed so many brunches and dinners over the past 10 years. The owners are very friendly and welcoming of everyone that enters their restaurant. It's a little piece of Italy in Toronto!

After hearing about this restaurant for years we decided to try it as our regular restaurant was closed for vacation and we found ourselves downtown
The service was slow..really slow, the food was just okay. We ordered a pasta dish and it was bland but my main complaint was they gave you about 6 forkfuls of pasta....come on people past is a couple of dollars a box. Dont be stingy with your guests..people want quality but for $20.00 dollars for a plate of pasta they want a lttle quantitiy as well
The owners walked around with their fancy shoes and shirts and didnt even give us eye contact...you must have known we were new clients, a ltlle nod would have been acceptable.
Do yourselves a favor and walk three blocks north to a lttle restaurant called Robertos where the service is amazing..ask for Marisa..the food is out of this world and its truly a family owned restaurant that will leave you wanting more!!!!!!
