Love going here. This place has alot of cool rock history and programs on the television.Service has been quick and very friendly. They even gave us a private tour of the upstairs guitars and pictures. The food was better then average.Geat place just to be awwwed. The price of the food was about average for this area in toronto.I did miss Q107.1 that is no longer there.

Hey Fred S,

Thanks for the "History" review. We certainly have an amazing story, especially here at Hard Rock Toronto, given that we are the second Hard Rock cafe in the world, and the oldest in North America we have more history than most. We are actually turning 35 in June of this year, and have some very cool surprises planned at the cafe so stay tuned to our website for details!

We definitely agree that our food is better than the norm, it's because we use fresh ingredients and homemade recipes in order to really make our unique flavours. Thanks for coming out, appreciating all we do, and writing an awesome comment for us! We love our fans.

Have a Rocking day!

Average food, over-enthusiastic staff, loud but familiar music and it is exactly as you would expect from here to London, New York or anywhere.

“Great first experience.”

First time at this restaurant. Loved it! Pleasantly surprised to hear live entertainment Wednesday afternoon. Told the guy was street performing when the manager heard him and offered him a gig. Nice story. Food was great. Service was awesome. Entertainment A+.
Went back again for supper.

Hi JFewer,

Thanks for the review! We are so glad to hear you not only came for lunch, but actually came back for dinner. It's so cool that we made such a good impression. Sam is a regular musician in the cafe, as well as VIBE host. He actually plays in the cafe for a live acoustic lunch every Wednesday from 12-2PM. His show is something to experience (if you didn't get to hear him sing a Tragically Hip song then you should definitely come back and request it, he's phenomenal) Thanks for the compliment on our food as well, our menu is great because we use fresh ingredients, homemade recipes and our cooks are top notch!

Keep on rocking JFewer! We hope to see you soon!

“Horrible”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2013

Food is horrible, atmosphere is horrible and I am a fan of Hard Rock cafes . This one is just bad. It doesnt feel like a Hard Rock cafe, instead feels like a cheap cafe. The cocktails are bad, very watered down and generally not a god experience.

“Awesome atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

I recently had lunch and drinks at the Hard Rock on a Thursday afternoon. I must have come at the perfect time because apparently they have acoustic shows every thursday at noon. The singer/guitar player was phenomenal, but at a low enough volume that you could still easily carry on a conversation. He took requests and gave me a personal tour of all the memorabilia, explaining each item with immense enthusiasm! The bar tender was super friendly and even though I was seated at the bar, my food didn't take long at all and was delicious.

My favourite aspect of the restaurant though is the music. Such a wide genre of music from 70s rock, 60s motown, 80s metal and so much more that it really adds a personal touch for me. The staff were friendly and attentive too and the whole experience brightened my day :)

Hi Amber M,

Thanks so much for the amazing review! Our guitar player/performer was Sam, he's one of our VIBE hosts in the cafe, and we like to brag about him. He plays a live acoustic lunch every Wednesday from 12-2PM in the cafe and he is amazing. His story is one of our favorites too! He was "discovered" by our other VIBE host Chris one day while he was busking. Chris was walking by, heard him playing and stopped in his tracks to listen to the wonderful, soulful music Sam was playing. He asked him to come play in the cafe, and the rest is history. Sam's a part of our family now and he is a unique part of what gives the Hard Rock such a great place!

Thanks again Amber M! We love that you enjoyed our style, staff, food and entertainment. We can't wait to see you again,
