A fresh-made roti from Ghandhi Cuisine usually runs $10-13, spiced to order. That's a good deal for Toronto, particularly since these enormous dishes are typically enough for two meals. This is definitely an Indian rather than a Caribbean interpretation of roti, with selections including butter chicken and palak paneer along with a range of other meat and vegetarian selections. The rotis are all freshly made, creamy and delicious, with a shell that's flaky and tender. Gandhi has a dedicated following and is a destination spot on the Queen West strip. The only downside: they aren't open for lunch on weekends.
