Tired of meat? Don't want any meat in your diet? Love salad, tofu or eccentric legumes? Fresh delivers all that in spades and manages to make it taste good, consistently day in and day out.

I work nearby and whenever I'm feeling generous ($20 for a noodle bowl with marinared tofu), I order take out or eat-in with a co-worker. You can tell that the food is always fresh and made with quality ingredients though which comes at a premium, especially in this area.

The place has an interesting vibe...hipster-meet-hippie style with a strong female contingent (are there more female vegetarians?)...makes you feel like they could be hiding a yoga studio in the back or that they should sell LuLu Lemon clothing as memorabilia.

It gets really busy at lunch so either come early or just phone in for takeout.

I recommend the energy bowl on Soba noodles. My personal fav.

We make a point of going to Fresh on Spadina or Crawford whenever we're back in Toronto. I miss this place so much since moving away. The food is always delicious and healthy, so many great choices for vegetarians and vegans alike. The smoothies are amazing. My only dislike is the tiny tables and the closeness. It's not a place you go to for a dinner out with lots of friends or a nice date night because of this, but it's the perfect spot to grab a quick brunch, lunch or dinner.

I took my 2 year old grandson to lunch. Two year old's can be picky but he happily chowed down on his delicious and nutritious meal. The menu has a nice variety to choose from and the food has been reliably good no matter which Fresh I've gone to.

Why can't other cities have a restaurant like this? Wonderful vegan food and a terrific selection. Great juice bar with many options. Terrific service from lovely people.

Count your blessings Toronto!

As a vegan, it is priceless to have a place to go to whenever in town. Always a wealth of delicious options from a menu that changes to offer variety.
