Popped in around 4 pm before a Blue Jays game and we were the only customers which was shocking based on the size of the place. Beers were cold, and the calamari was fabulous as it had mixed in to it deep fried pickled jalapeños and bell peppers. This was heaven, the nachos were also fantastic. Service was great and the vibe of the restaurant was great too. I would definitely recommend and return.

The place looked great on its reopening from renovations. The wait staff was plenty friendly. The food portions were big and tasty!

I had the nachos to start, a great sharing starter. The fish tacos were delicious and more than plenty for a lunchtime meal. The butter chicken poutine was one of the best I've tried. Definitely worth sharing as it is a huge serving. Finished off with the brownie dessert, which was heavenly and, you guessed it, huge!

I'd definitely go back again to try more of what they have to offer.

I have been eating at the E&C on the corner of Yonge and Gerrard since it opened. As im in Toronto on a regualr basis and stay at the Chelsea. Its a great old bank buildiing conversion to a Bar and Restaurant. Service and food generally are on the quick side. Food is ok bar food. With a bit of British twist to a few menu items. Prices are reasonable. Staff always friendly.

We had a gr8 time and the place aint too noisy if you want to be in a conversation with others. The staff has been good in what they do. Food was tasty too and their response time was also good which makes E & C a place i mostly will visit again. Easy access is another plus point, jst couple of mins walk from Hardrock Cafe. Couple of downsides are no patio, and the place is a lil expensive when you compare with other pubs around the same locality which are of similar class.

We all enjoyed it, decent mix of clientele, not too expensive, and some decent but not overpowering sports on the TV. Some of the service was a little shaky, but over all its well recommended.
