If you just want good old American faire, incl decent steaks at reasonable prices, friendly and helpful waiters, a few cocktails to choose from, and a bar to retire to after eating, then you can't go far wrong with this place.
Ate there with a friend and was happy to find its full of comfy, cosy booths, always good for intimate chats. I went for the side Caesar salad to start, then the ribeye (the smallest 8oz was plenty enough) which was cooked just right, and a loaded skin which was tasty and crispy skinned. I don't usually opt for the cream pies, as being a Brit I find them a little too sweet and plasticky, but the banana cream pie there is lovely and tasty. Obviously it's too big to eat in one sitting but makes for a welcome midnight feast treat.
Visited at 8.30pm on a Tues game eve and it was empty. We had 2 beers, 2 cocktails, 1 salad, 2 steaks and 1 dessert - all in, incl tip, was $130.
