“2 Thumbs up!!”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Recently visited this historic restaurant (after almost 6 years )near St Lawrence Market. It was like walking down memory lane.Had read some reviews on Urban spoon and was curious to see this institution which has been there for over 33 years i am given to understand.Cozy Ambience and very Ethnic and does need a touch up.The lunch buffet was pleasant and very reasonably priced and had some of the popular North Indian dishes( very authentic and comfortable to the palate) My friends ordered through their menu and the staff were very accomodating even though it was a busy afternoon. The portions were good and enjoyable and had plenty of choices.Understandable the building is historic and there is a new team which i feel are putting their best foot forward and introducing many positive changes. The old management opened a new restaurant ( Which i have visited while attending shows) and what a shame as they let this spiral downwards and leave a herculean task for the new team. The new team which operates this place has done an incredible job in vitalizing this establishment and i am certainly going to visit and support them as they have the right ingredients to succeed.Best of Luck Bombay Palace !!

“Great experience I can't wait to go back!”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

I would like to share that I was here the other day and had an exceptional experience! I have read some poor reviews, but do not agree with any of them. The service was great, very attentive to our needs and details but without being pushy. In addition, the food was delicious! Very flavorful and everyone left satisfied and well fed! I was also very impressed with how clean the restaurant was. Thank you for a great experience I can't wait to go back!

“Not the best Indian cuisine”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

The food was not too bad, but nothing special. A bit overpriced though for the quality that they were offering. And they took away my glass of wine before I was able to finish it.

“Great Food and Service”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Honestly, best Indian food I have had in Toronto, and I live in little India. The lunch buffet had a great selection and the service we received was great. The lamb was really tender and flavourful. I will definitely be back. I think they have been there for a couple years, so not sure how I missed this for so long!
