“Relaxed French restaurant, great food, good value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2013

Just eaten at Batifole, and have a rosy glow. We intended to visit many times before, and finally did tonight. They have a Prix Fixe menu which is good and fair pricing ($24 a head), and a very interesting A La Carte that we will try next visit. Closed Monday and Tuesday, open for dinner for the rest of the week. The wine list is very extensive - if you like French wine there are some real gems to be found. Service was good and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.

“In the middle of nowhere but well worth the journey...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

The absolute best thing about this restaurant is it's wine list... next being the food. Service is excellent and have never had a problem getting in even on a Friday night without reservations. French in Riverdale is a plus... looking forward to going back again and again.

“A slice of France in Lil' Chinatown”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2012

A little restaurant with rich flavours. If you like sauces and rich food this is an out of the way spot that hits the spot. They recently finished renovations that has brightened up the spot. I love going to this restaurant for the service and the wine list. The wine list is almost all French so if your looking for a California or Australian wine you are out of luck. We always refer to the waiter for our wine option and he has never steered us wrong, and does not pick the most expensive/over priced wine either. If you want something interesting try the Horse Tartar with frits. Wonderful and very rich. Not a spot for anyone with gout. Best dessert - Jack Daniels Crepes.

Excellent food here, be sure to try the escargot, the steak frites, the tenderloin...mmmm everything here is sinfully delicious...
Come here on special occasions, b-days anniversaries etc.
Funny location wouldnt think there was a French Fine Dining reastaurant here, but there you go.
this place is not to be missed.
