“Very good food & service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2014

my wife & I stopped here recently for lunch....beautiful building & interior. We sat at the bar & had drinks & lunch. Everything was very good Located in the middle of the downtown area it appears to cater to a business crowd but we as tourists felt very at ease there.

“Drinkers zone.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2014

Service is swift and friendly. It draws in a rowdy crowd at times but never an intimidating one. A good place for a few drinks and surprisingly, some decent food (although a bit more expensive than other places to eat nearby).. They do push out the smell of the food and it smells very good when you're peckish. It tastes good too. It smells great too. Did I say that? Maybe I was just hungry.

Good music choices and atmosphere is aided by this. If you want a good value beer, get a Hoegarden. Massive glass. If you want an awful drink, get a clamato. Bleurgh. To be fair though, the waitress did warn me so it's my fault. Tomato juice with cranberry and apple.. *ew*.

Go! Have a good time. Stop wasting your time reading me rabbling on about clamato. x

“Good food and atmosphere”

Situated in what looks like an old bank from the 1880's, this is in the middle of the downtown excitement. Friendly staff and great food. Lots of great beers to choose from, too.

Had the 8oz burger with fries. The food was good and came quick.
Guinness was good.
Maybe it just tastes better at home but I would not recommend the legavulin.

“Late night munchies on King Street”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2014

I'll be very concise.....

09:00 pm....

Guiness on Draft.... Several Guiness on Draft....

Fish and Chips Platter....

Sit at the bar, chat it up with the locals or the visitors. The bartender was excellent. We chatted while I drank a few pints and had some of the best fish and chips ever. Worth a visit if your bored later in the evening and staying near King and Younge.
