I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to lunch at little anthony's this week. I can't being to express how impressed I was with the place; the management, service and most importantly, FOOD. If you're a meatball fanatic like myself, the turkey meatballs are a "MUST HAVE". Best in the city! And best I've had. Yes, best turkey meat balls in town. Little Anthony's is really great and all should go!!

Little Anthony's is such a gem in the heart of the financial / theatre district - everything from the subtle decor, to the service, to especially, the food! Wow. The most delicious new Italian preparations with the freshest ingredients make it well worth the visit.
Strongly recommend this lovely restaurant that has a lot of heart.

went to LAs and the service was nothing special...i was excited for the food but left never wanting to come back. The appetizer was tiny...and overpriced. I got over that quick - but when I ordered the chicken it was a small piece (figures) with fat still around it and skin. ew. i couldnt even chew it, it was all gew.

not happy about it. Id rather go back to Volos across the street.

We decided to try LA's for something new and were very impressed. For starters we ordered off the small appetizers section: salty cod on crostini, marinated eggplant and caponata. All very tasty and good presentation. For my main I had the seared scallops which were excellent with a side order of tossed rapini (past time fav). My companion ordered a 16oz. Veal chop and it came with a fresh side of tomatoes tossed in pesto. Nice combo and once again, great presentation. The service was perfect. I would def go back again.

We hadn't been since the renovation and were amazed at the transformation from old world Italian to modern - bright, clean, and spacious! The menu had improved too - I can highly recommend the ravioli starter for that night and the roasted Ontario pork was superb - the best I've ever had. My husband really enjoyed the poached egg on polenta. The service was friendly and attentive. It was a bit on the expensive side - but that's downtown Toronto!
