This is the ultimate Italian restaurant. I keep going back and back and am always fully satisfied. I highly recommend this fine dining alternative.

Whenever I visit Toronto I stay at the Intercontinental so the I can walk to Joe's for pizza. I love this place. I am their most loyal customer in the world and for good reason...it's great food, good value and great service, especially from the male waiters.

We went here before the theatre, having been several times over the years without problems. This time was a disaster.
We arrive in good time and initially everything was fine, wine order taken and delivere promptly and then our order taken. The appetiser arrived and was good, greilled calamari. Then the problem started, we waited for 15 minutes after the appetiser was cleared and then asked about our meals, the response was "they should be here soon". Since people who had been seated before us were now served it was now clear there was a problem, so we asked again with a similar response. Still no food. I flagged down a manager and asked him to search for our order. Another 5 minutes, it was now over 35 minutes since we had finished our appetiser and we were clearly not going to eat and make the theatre comfortably. I asked for the bill so far and it arrived with no apology from the waiter followed by a very breathless manager who comped our meal so far and explained the entree order had not been entered when our appetiser was served, as is their normal practice. The time on the order was after my second complaint.
Suffice to say we won't be back as their many better choices in that area!

Everyone in our group loved their food. The appetizers were great as well, especially the stuffed portabello mushrooms. A great place to relax, eat and drink but not the place to go if you are on a tight deadline. The portion sizes were good. We were full but not overstuffed. The wait staff were very attentive but not a nuisance.

We have visited Joe Badali's many times over the last few years. Without exception we have received great service, excellent food and good value for our money.
Sometimes we will sit at the bar and have found the staff friendly and efficient.
The management seem to be very aware of customer's needs and check regularly to make sure we are being well looked after.
Our grandchildren love it also, the staff are wonderful with them.
