“Best Winterlicious meal !”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

Went to dinner with four friends and everything we had was great. I had lobster and scallops with angel hair pasta, the rest had steak and fries. Was very well done and our server Andrew did a marvelous job making sure everything was taken care of. I have been there before and everytime we go I experience a very relaxed fun filled evening.

“Great Winterlicious night out at Fred's Not Here”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

We enjoyed the evening out on Feb 3/2014 with friends. We did the Winterlicious deal and ate well. The service was Great "Andrew". I tried Duck Confit - yum. I had lobster and baby scallop pasta - real yum. My hubby was happy too. Great seafood soup in that crazy puff pastry topped bowl.
Will do it again soon.

“The SOUP! awww...yum.”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

I was here last year too and LOVED the food. They serve this "to die for" corn bread that nearly filled me up. Lobster soup is amazing as was everything else we ordered. We were in a group of 15 & the service was top notch.

“An Amazing Culinary Experience”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

We had the opportunity to visit Toronto the weekend after the big ice storm in early January. 'Fred's Not Here' , which was recommended to us by our son-in-law for a great place to eat, didn't let us down. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, Our waiter, Mark, was knowledgeable about the menu, and only to happy to answer any questions we had about food preparation, wine parings or even about the city/neighbourhood. He was attentive without being annoying, a balance that is sometimes hard to master. The food was perfectly prepared,(as per our requests) and presented very professionally. The tastes were savoured with every bite and appreciated, from the tenderness of the meats, the crisp-tender veggies and the creamy mashed potatoes. The 'fries' were light and crispy. We had plenty to eat, so no room for dessert. Maybe next time.
